Description: Purse with tag inside marked 'Manufactured under Ladies Handbag Authority' and the number '653292'. Zipper is marked 'Talon'. A hexagonal (6-sided) purse, zipped along the top two sides and covered in a beige lace. Pale gold sequins and micro beads are sewn onto the lace in a floral pattern with sequin stripes radiating from the center. See middle left for close-up of beads and sequins. Back has a flat hand strap, see lower left. Inside is beige satin lining and a stiff pocket for a mirror. c. 1920's.
Size: 6 1/4" dia.
Condition: Very good; I don't see any obviously missing beads or sequins, but undoubltly some must be gone with a bag of this age. No loose or dangling beads, sequins or threads. Side seams excellent. Lining could use a cleaning.
