Description: Belt, signed 'YSL' on a metal hang tag. Vintage YSL mod belt made of alternating papaya yellow plastic squares and circles linked by gold tone connectors. The plastic links are large, measuring about 1 1/4". Hooks in front sitting low on the hips, best has 4 extra circle links at opposite end from the hook, meant to make belt adjustable and leave one end dangling. Notice that there are two square links side-by-side, lower left in picture, and it seems that a circle link should be between. I see no evidence of one having be removed and it doesn't seemed to make sense that someone would remove a link, as the belt is intended to be adjustable. However, there is a break in the pattern, and one circle link from the opposite end of the belt could be placed between those squares if desired.
