Description: This spectacular and huge fur clip is signed 'Coro' and 'Pat No 128822' partially worn away, and Adolph Katz design from 1941. This is a very large gilt over pot metal 'big parrot', enameled in shades of blue and green with long curling tail feathers. The feathers around his neck are adorned with clear rhinestones, the feathers at the top of his head are set with pink rhinestones. His eye is a pink rhinestone. His beak is enameled in black. A stunning creation, with very little wear for it's age, over 60 years old! Shown on page 70 of A Tribute to America by the Brunialtis.

Condition: Very good, slight enamel wear on the front, two specks on beak and a bit on wing feathers. Back shows somewhat more wear to gold plate and some scratches.
