Description: Famous fur clip, signed 'Coro' and 'Pat No D117..' with the rest worn away. Beginning of the number dates this piece to the late 30's, possibly 1940. The design is part of Coro's quivering camelias series. This one is a single camelia with three leaves on a stem, all gold plated. Square cut simulated sapphires are invisibly set in rows on each leaf. The center is a cluster of square and round sapphire rhinestones and clear rhinestoes on a spring, en tremblant. Hence the name 'quivering' camelia.
