Description: Buckle, signed 'Made in Czechoslovakia' on the back of both pieces. From the estate of a Czechoslovakian woman, this 2-piece buckle is from the early part of the 20th century, c.1915. Stamped brass set with green glass. The brass has a intricate and detailed paisley-like pattern. The green glass pieces are deeply carved with a floral motif. 4 loops on the back for sewing onto belt. These loops would work beautifully to add a chain or a string of beads to turn this into a necklace without altering the piece.
