Description: Brooch, signed "Sandor". Grace McGowan was the head designer for Sandor Jewelry Company of Manhattan, NY. She designed a series of enameled flowers that reminded her of the floral abundance of British Guyana where she grew up. This rose bud has four overlapping red and ivory petals tucked into a green enameled stem with green enameled leaves.
