Description: Brooch, signed "TRIFARI (crown mark over T), STERLING DES. PAT NO. 140801" which dates the patent to April 10, 1945, an Alfred Philippe design. Regal sterling vermeil brooch with a large royal ruby red unfoiled center rhinestone surrounded by clear rhinestones, scrolling ribbons and leaves wit three oval glass moonstone cabochons, ruby red and sapphire blue rhinestone accents all topped by a crown set with more jewel tone and clear rhinestones.
