Description: Necklace, unsigned. This type of Venetian glass decoration is called 'pizzo' meaning lace - a contrasting color is 'drizzled' onto the bead creating a lacy effect. This is a single strand of of 33 irregular round white glass beads (roughly 1/2" dia.) with contrasting black 'lace' and faceted hematite glass bead spacers. Similar shown on page 212 of European Designer Jewelry by Ginger Moro.
