Description: Necklace, unsigned. Art Deco strand of carved and dyed celluloid beads. The beads are round and cut back leaving a band around the middle thats been grooved and notched. Both ends and the surface of the band have been dyed or painted in a slate blue. See lower left for close-up. The largest center bead (5/8" dia.) has chrome end caps on both side, then the rest of the bead have the chrome caps on one side, right or left, so you see one half of the bead painted. In between each celluloid bead are small chrome beads. The clasp is silver metal, a beehive design screw clasp.
