Description: Brooch, attributed to Schriener, reference: shown in Rhinestones! by Nancy Schiffer, page 14. The bloom is huge, measures well over 5" tall. The blue rhinestone flower sits atop a very long gold plated stem and is made with all different sizes of marquise and pear shaped blue rhinestones layered and set at different angles around a blue chaton. A teardrop is set on the stem, just below the flower and a flower bud is on a separate stem and made with a blue rhinestone oval and a cluster of small peridot rhinestones. The long leaf is also on a separate stem and is made with an outline of peridot thin navette rhinestones. All stones are prong set.
