Description: Brooch, unsigned, probably Austrian or maybe Schreiner. An unusual abstract and three dimensional design with 'hook and eye' construction. The design reminds me a lot of a comet with a flowing long tail. The round part of the brooch is 3-dimensional and set with clear rhinestone baguettes, the cross bar is a separate piece and is curved up and over the circle and attached via the hook and eye. Each of the two long 'tails' are set with clear rhinestone chatons and are outlined in black japanned frames. The whole piece is japanned and all the stones are prong set.

Condition: Very good, slight wear to japanning on the back.
