Description: Brooch, unsigned, marked only with the number '3129' on the back. Turn of the century rectangular sash pin, the outer frame is etched with an all-over shell design. The inside is covered with stamped and cut-out brass design of flowers, leaves and curling vines, it is not flat, but layered over the frame and set with an orange speckled glass oval cabochon at an angle in the center. Thick pin stem and c-clasp. See close-up lower left, picture has been lightened to show detail.
