Description: Venetian vintage glass bead necklace; this type of decoration is called 'pizzo' meaning lace - a contrasting color is 'drizzled' onto the bead creating a lacy effect. A single strand necklace consisting of of 29 opaque white 5/8" diameter round glass beads with contrasting gold fluss 'lace'. Hand knotted on white silk with a barrel clasp. Similar shown on page 212 of "European Designer Jewelry" by Ginger Moro.
