Item #: 102645
Description: Matching necklace and bracelet, unsigned, made with great big (3/4" dia.) heavily marbled green and butterscotch beads, more commonly called creamed spinach. The necklace is a single strand of 17 beads with original gray celluloid spirals between each bead as spacers and green celluloid rings near the 1930's spring ring clasp. The bracelet is strung on two lengths of black elastic and there are two strands of the big beads on one half and five long slices on the other half. Necklace string and bracelet elastic are original, though the string has been re-knotted on one side of the necklace and the elastic knots are fraying a bit on the bracelet. Very rare to find matching bakelite pieces.
Size: Necklace: 16", bracelet: 1 1/4" wide, only stretches to about 7 1/2" or so.
Condition: Beads in excellent condition. Overall very good, one side of elastic on the bracelet very slightly stretched out, fraying on elastic knots.
