Item #: 103221
Description: Matching necklace and bracelet, both with 'Miriam Haskell' signed on an oval hang tag. Both the single strand necklace and double strand memory coil bracelet are made with gorgeous glazed ceramic beads that have swirls colors of purple, violet, gold, rust, cream and blue, the colors of a desert sunset. Both pieces have larger carved beige stone beads, they're either agate or quartz, as the focal points. The necklace has 1/2" ceramic beads with three stone beads spaced in the center and an extender chain of smaller ceramic beads, unadorned hook clasp. The bracelet has graduated size ceramic beads with a round carved stone bead in the center of each strand. Small gold bead spacers throughout both pieces. The set is from the 1970's, probably a Larry Vrba design, when the Haskell company was producing bridge jewelry using semi-precious beads and when the natural look was in. See middle and lower left for close-up views of both pieces.
