Description: Bracelet, marked 'Pat Dec 16 1879' on the bottom of the center oval. A lovely sentimental design on this Victorian mourning bypass bracelet dated 1879. The oval jet stone set into the yellow gold filled centerpiece is etched with a dove on a branch, the dove has a shiny finish, the background of the stone is more matte. You can only see the dove as you turn the bracelet, as the different surface textures of the etching catch the light. The crossover or bypass band is tubular, a copper color and hinged inside the oval centerpiece, making this bracelet adjustable. The top ends of the band are yellow gold filled and contrast with the band.
Size: 6 1/2" at smallest, opens to fit any size x 7/8" across the top.
