Description: Locket, unmarked. Gold filled oval mourning locket with a wonderful taille d'epargne (black enanmeled) flowers and leaves design. Dating to between 1860's-1880's, these lockets were typically worn on a book chain necklace. The chain included was purchased with the locket, but likely not original. See lower left for inside view.
