Description: Bracelet, marked twice on the back of the slide: 'PAT'D Nov 7 71' and 'PAT.June 25 72' dating this bracelet to the early 1870's. Yellow gold filled mesh slide bracelet, also known as garter bracelets, with amethyst oval set in the slide and gold chain fringe at the end. See Collecting Victorian Jewelry by C. Size: adjustable up to around 9 1/4" to fit over hand, then can be tightened to fit the wrist. Band is 1/2", slide is 7/8" x 1 1/4"
Condition: Very good, only slight wear to gold fill
