Description: This is a wonderful 8 piece sterling silver Victorian dresser set. Pieces are marked 'sterling' '5600' 'R' and with an axe hallmark. The larger pieces have the monogram 'GIN' engraved in the center with a garland rose pattern. Pieces include: Hand mirror (mirror glass missing), two brushes one with handle one without, buffer, nail file, comb (teeth all missing), shoe horn and button hook. The handled brush is missing about 1/3 of the bristles, the comb is missing all teeth. The buffer is hard with no buffing agent, the steel nail file is slightly rusted (handle is fine). The set is in overall good condition, except flaws as I noted abouve. No major dings or dents in sterling, except for a small ding on the mirror back. The mirror measures 12" x 5 1/2", handled brush is 9 1/4" x 3 1/8", brush is 7 1/4" x 2 1/4", buffer is 5 1/4" x 1 1/4, comb top is 7 1/2" long, shoe horn is 8 1/4" long, nail file is 8 1/4" long, button hook is 7 3/4" long.
